Berkeley man shot while checking his car alarm

ST. LOUIS – Right before Thanksgiving three years ago, Manasseh Kimbrough heard his car alarm out front. He simply opened his front door to look.

“I’m thinking, ‘What in the devil’s going on?’ And out of my peripheral, I saw something moving and saw a flash,” Kimbrough said.

His wife, Yolanda Kimbrough, added, “It was terrifying. I came running behind him at the door. And the only thing I seen was him get shot and fall off the porch. And he hollered to me, ‘Get back, get back!’”…
