ST. LOUIS – A former St. Louis-area mail carrier who stole mail and aided in a massive check-stealing scheme has been sentenced to prison.
On Friday, a federal judge sentenced Cambria M. Hopkins, 30, of Florissant, Missouri, to one year and one day in prison. She was also ordered to repay $21,635.
In March 2022, investigators say Hopkins sold her “arrow key” to Malik A. Jones, who did not work for the postal service but was sentenced on similar charges last year. The Postal Service-issued key is typically used to access mail collection boxes…
