Woman Arrested After Fatal Truck Shooting in Downtown St. Louis, Police Say

St. Louis, Missouri – A woman is in custody after a deadly early-morning shooting inside a pickup truck in downtown St. Louis that left one man dead and led to multiple felony charges. Police say the incident unfolded within minutes and was captured on surveillance video, helping investigators piece together what happened.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, February 1, in the 900 block of North 9th Street. Investigators allege that Brittany A. Rivoire, 36, shot a man inside his truck and then drove away in the vehicle before abandoning it several blocks away.

The victim’s identity has not been publicly released. Police confirmed the man died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Police say the victim had offered Rivoire a ride so she would not be left outside in cold weather. A friend of the victim was also inside the truck at the time.
