St. Louis Woman Charged with First-Degree Murder in Connection with 9th St. Shooting

In a recent turn of events in St. Louis, a 36-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in his 50s. The incident, which took place yesterday morning, unfolded on the 300 block of N. 9th St., where the victim was found shot, ultimately passing away at the scene.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the woman faces charges including Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Tampering 1st Degree, as detailed by the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office. The breakthrough in the case came thanks to the Real Time Crime Center Detectives who, using area cameras, were able to track down and direct officers to a potential suspect.

Officers from District 4 were the first responders to the shooting scene, finding the man shot, without consciousness and unable to breathe. Despite the rapid response of EMS, the man’s injuries proved fatal.
