Boeing St. Louis receives $2.8 billion defense contract

ST. LOUIS—The Department of Defense (DOD) awarded a $2.8 billion contract to Boeing in St. Louis to modernize a foreign country’s aircraft fleet of F-15s.

Over 20 years ago, Boeing assembled the first F-15 for the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) and now the corporation will design and develop a suite of aircraft systems to support modifications to those aircrafts.

Boeing employees of the Saint Louis area will be busy for over a decade on this contract, as it’s expected to complete by the end of 2037…
