BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police said a juvenile male was shot multiple times late Monday night, Feb. 9, 2026, in Belleville, and a juvenile male suspect was taken into custody early Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, as investigators continue to pursue leads.
The Belleville Police Department said it was dispatched at about 10:27 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, to the 600 block of Royal Heights Road “in reference to a report of a subject who had been shot multiple times.” Officers arriving at the scene found a juvenile male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the lower torso, police said.
Officers and emergency medical personnel provided medical aid, and the victim was transported to a St. Louis-area hospital for treatment, according to police. The victim is listed in “critical but stable condition.”…
