ST. LOUIS – A 19-year-old from St. Louis is facing serious accusations after he was indicted in federal court on Wednesday for charges stemming from a robbery that took place on the grounds of the Gateway Arch.
Federal prosecutors allege that Thomas Durgins, who was armed with a gun, stole money and shoes from a seller on Feb. 1. Officials say the 19-year-old was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 11, and appeared in front of a judge Thursday, Feb. 12.
