UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. — The co-founder of an iconic St. Louis spot, Linda Kennedy Edwards, died on Sunday.
Linda and her husband Joe Edwards opened Blueberry Hill Restaurant & Music Club in 1972, which grew into an iconic St. Louis spot in the Delmar Loop.
In 1986, Linda debuted her window displays at the restaurant and music club. The displays ranged from holiday tours de force like “Trimming Santa’s Tree” and “Easter Bunny’s Kitchen” to off-the-wall concepts like “Rosemary’s Baby Shower” and “The Terrifying Dentist’s Chair on Halloween,” an obituary said. Her daughter, Hope, documented Linda’s work in the book “The Window Displays of Linda Edwards at Blueberry Hill Restaurant & Music Club.”…
