Applebee’s shooter to serve life in prison

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The man convicted in a fatal St. Louis County shooting at an Applebee’s will serve life in prison.

Last month, Courtney Washington, 34, was convicted of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action in the June 2020 shooting.

On Thursday, he was sentenced to two life terms for second-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault. He was also sentenced to 20 years in prison for the accompanying counts of armed criminal action…
