ST. LOUIS — Two people were hospitalized — one of them with serious injuries — after being rescued from a burning vacant building early Sunday morning in St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Fire Department, crews arrived sometime before 5 a.m. Sunday to the 4500 block of North Kingshighway. There, they found a two-story brick building with heavy fire showing on both floors and flames spreading to a neighboring vacant building.
Firefighters rescued two people from the primary building. Both were treated and transported by EMS. One person suffered serious injuries while the other was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to the fire department. Crews also helped a third person get out of the building safely…
