The Madison County Board meeting was held on February 18,2026, at 5:00 p.m. and took place in the atrium of the Administration Building. The meeting was opened with the pledge of allegiance by Shaundelle Wilson after a search for the American Flag. Opening prayer was given by Assistant Pastor Traci Daniels, Anchored in Truth Ministries.
In recognition of Black History Month the meeting began with a Living Legend Award to Joyce Elliott. She was a minister at the oldest African American Church in Madison County. She was honored as a minister and leader for the next generation.
Captain Bill Marconi was honored for his 27 years of service and retirement from law enforcement and Madison County Building security. He thanked his wife Nicole and Sheriff Jeff Connor. Captain Jeremy Stump will be Marconi’s replacement…
