ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man was sentenced Thursday for a scheme taking place in multiple states that stole nearly $300,000 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s.
On Thursday, prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri ordered Marshall Lampkin, 36, to be sentenced, as well as pay $301,713 in restoration to Kohl’s and hand over all their stolen property.
The sentencing follows a conviction from a trail in August that revealed Lampkin manipulated the Kohl’s Cash rewards program. He exploited the system’s processing time to double-spend rewards points at dozens of store locations in more than 12 states…
