CLAYTON, Mo. — Playa Bowls, a fruit bowl and smoothie chain with over 400 shops nationwide, has signed a franchise deal with a local health care executive and his wife to enter the St. Louis market.
The company said Monday that Brittany and Jeff Ciaramita signed a five-unit development agreement bring Playa Bowls to the St. Louis region.
They are targeting this fall to open their first location, in Clayton, according to a news release. An address wasn’t provided, and a Playa representative didn’t immediately respond to questions…
