St. Louis ice cream brand expands to Columbia, secures distribution deal

As Clementine’s Ice Cream prepares to open three new locations across Missouri and begin distribution in grocery stores, the company is ramping up its regional expansion. With every step, the St. Louis-based ice cream brand aims to focus on its founder’s vision.

Founder and CEO Tamara Keefe launched Clementine’s in 2014 after working in the corporate world for 20 years. Though she had built a career in marketing and branding in the food industry, she said she felt unfulfilled.

“I wanted to own my own life. I wanted to take control of my destiny,” Keefe said. “I just really wanted to go make people happy everyday.”…
