ST. LOUIS — An internal investigation is underway by the Mid County Fire Protection District after a man’s body was found by family members days following a residential fire.
Officials said the remains of 69-year-old Wayne Vann were discovered by his family two days after his Wellston house caught fire. Firefighters did not find anyone during the initial searches.
