A woman walking her dog was hit and killed by a vehicle on Illinois 159 Saturday evening, Illinois State Police confirmed.
St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. identified the woman as Shannon Duff, 44, of Caseyville. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle also was injured and was taken to a local hospital. The dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian, according to a State Police news release…
