Man attacks MetroLink security officer with railroad spike: Police

ST. LOUIS – A MetroLink security officer is recovering after being attacked with a railroad spike downtown.

According to a probable cause statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the attack occurred Monday, March 9, along the 300 block of South 18th Street.

Police said the security officer noticed Corey Anderson, 33, walking on the MetroLink tracks and asked him to get off the tracks and leave the area…
