St. Louis preservation group opposes demolition of historic Club Imperial

ST. LOUIS — Preservation advocates are pushing back against the city’s plan to demolish the historic Club Imperial in Walnut Park West.

The city’s Land Reutilization Authority is seeking approval to demolish the property at 6306 W. Florissant Ave., which has been vacant for years and fallen into disrepair.
