St. Louis man pleads not guilty in VA hospital robbery case

A St. Louis man has been charged in federal court in connection with a robbery that allegedly occurred in the parking lot of the John J. Cochran Veterans Hospital in St. Louis.

Lafayette Hutchins, 68, was indicted in U.S. District Court on Feb. 18 on one count of robbery within the special territorial jurisdiction of the United States. According to the indictment, the alleged offense occurred in the parking lot of the John J. Cochran Veterans Hospital.
