ST. LOUIS – A man who took part in a scheme to steal millions of dollars from elderly victims across 10 states, including one St. Louis woman, was sentenced in federal court on Thursday.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of Missouri, Sital Singh, 43, Dariona Lambert, 24, Zhamoniq Stevens, 24, Chintankumar Parekh, 52, Mehulkumar Darji, 42, each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
A U.S. District Court judge sentenced Singh to four years in federal prison and ordered him to pay $6.6 million in restitution to the victims…
