ST. LOUIS – The case that began with a man found bloody in a field led to a guilty verdict for one officer, while his supervisor was found not guilty.
Police claimed they were giving an admitted shoplifter a “courtesy ride” before a bloodied man was found in a field July 4th, 2023. Jurors convicted the officer seen there that night — but cleared the supervisor who wasn’t there.
