HAZELWOOD, Mo. — A Hazelwood West High School student sprayed mace in a hallway Monday morning, affecting between 30-40 students and causing one student to be taken by ambulance to a hospital.
The Hazelwood Police Department said the teenager who sprayed the mace ran from the building but was later found and taken into custody with “parental assistance.”
