ST. LOUIS – A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning after her vehicle struck a tree in St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, the crash occurred around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Oakview Place, south of Interstate 64.

Police say the 65-year-old drive suffered a medical emergency while driving. When officers located the woman inside the vehicle, she was in cardiac arrest. She was transported to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead.
