ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – One person was killed when a plane crashed at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield on Tuesday morning.
First responders rushed to the scene of the crash around 3:40 a.m. St. Louis County Police confirmed the pilot, who was the only person on board, was killed.
St. Louis County Police identified the pilot as Edward Ruhbeck,65, from the 11300 block of Larimore Road, St. Louis, MO 63138. The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation into the crash…
