ST. LOUIS COUNTY (First Alert 4) — Lashonda Baker got a letter in the mail saying she was being sued. Not knowing what it was about, she looked in the top left corner of the page where the plaintiff is listed and saw four letters in all caps: “LVNV.”
She said she had never heard of it before. The letter alleged she owed money for an old credit card debt. It had a summons for her to show up the following week to St. Louis County Associate Court.
