Florissant police say a Friday sting operation exposed a juvenile crime ring accused of preying on some of the city’s most vulnerable residents. The coordinated crackdown unfolded across several surrounding municipalities, and while police say the effort was successful, they are keeping many specifics out of public view because the suspects are minors protected by juvenile privacy laws.
According to KSDK, the Florissant Police Department led the regional operation, partnering with law enforcement agencies across the St. Louis area to track down and arrest the group. Investigators described the suspects as juveniles who allegedly targeted elderly, disabled or otherwise vulnerable residents for thefts and other predatory acts.
