The Madison City Council members met on Monday, March 23 in a special session. They had set the meeting earlier in the month, on March 2, to allow time to fully explore several topics. These topics were discussed and will be brought forward to the council for action where indicated.
Included on the agenda were current ordinance violations in the city, the possibility of changing ordinances to address concerns, and a way to bring revenue to the city coffers. Besides Council members, the village attorney, Tonya Genovese, and the city administrative assistant Sue Beatte were in attendance to answer questions raised by the council members. Madison residents and department heads also attended the meeting.
