CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, Ill. – A tense morning meeting unfolded in Cahokia Heights as Mayor Curtis McCall pushed back against claims that the city’s drinking water is contaminated with E. coli, calling the findings “fake news” and assuring residents the water supply is safe.
