Cahokia Heights mayor insists water is safe following IEPA testing

CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, Ill — A Metro East mayor is pushing back on claims that the tap water in his community is unsafe to drink.

In 2021, the EPA ordered the leaders of Cahokia Heights to take immediate action to address issues with water quality.
