Midnight Lindenwood Park Inferno Leaves One In Critical Condition

One person is in critical condition after firefighters pulled them from a burning home in south St. Louis overnight, following a fast-moving blaze that lit up a quiet Lindenwood Park block before dawn.

Officials said the fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. Monday on the 7000 block of Nottingham Place. Crews moved in to knock down the flames, and investigators stayed on scene into the morning. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

According to FOX 2, St. Louis Fire Department crews rescued the person from the structure and rushed them to a hospital, where they were listed in critical condition, officials told reporter Nick Gladney.
