Saturday morning rain exits, cooler air arrives

ST. LOUIS – Widespread rain and thunder this morning will gradually come to an end from west to east. Cooler temperatures will arrive through the day, falling out of the 60s and into the low to mid 50s this afternoon. Winds will also be a bit gusty through the afternoon and evening.

It’ll be chilly for Easter Sunrise services, and any morning outdoor egg hunts with overnight lows falling into the upper 30s to low 40s with wind chills in the low to mid 30s. We’ll have plenty of sunshine for Easter Sunday and highs will climb to near 60.

We’ll keep cooler temperatures around for the start of the work week. There is some frost/freeze potential for Tuesday morning across northeast MO into west central IL. Temperatures rebound to the 70s by Wednesday…
