ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – St. Louis police have responded to a social media post claiming a man wearing body armor pointed a gun at cars on Tuesday morning.

A post circulating on Reddit said that a man wearing a bulletproof vest was approaching cars at gunpoint around 7 a.m. at a stoplight on North Jefferson.

Hours after the post was created, police took to social media to provide an account of what they found during their investigation…
