ST. LOUIS – A 3-year-old boy died overnight Friday after falling out of a window at a high-rise apartment building in the Central West End.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the Parkview Apartments in the 4400 block of Forest Park Avenue.

Police initially responded to the scene after reports of a 3-year-old boy missing at the apartment. Officers later located the child and determined that he fell from a window of the structure, SLMPD said.
