SPANISH LAKE, Mo. – Less than a week after a deadly shooting at a Steak ‘n Shake in Spanish Lake, the owner of the restaurant has decided to close.
Employee Chauncia Meekins was shot and killed last Wednesday night while working the drive-thru window following a dispute over an order. Meekins was 32.
No arrests have been made in Meekins’ death. The investigation is still ongoing…
