Former Concord Apartments residents face deadline for tent removal, struggle to find shelter

ST. LOUIS — Two weeks after 63 people were evicted from the Concord Apartments, the former residents are facing yet another looming deadline to move.

The Concord Apartments were condemned in February before a massive police raid two weeks ago, where 13 people were arrested on various charges and 63 people were cited for living in a condemned apartment.

“They said we can get our things,” Zuri Edwards said. “When I went in the house the whole place was ransacked. They stole the TV’s, food, and all my kid’s clothes.”…
