Two injured in north St. Louis shooting, police investigating

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a double shooting that left a man and woman injured Thursday night.

According to police, a 35-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were traveling in north St. Louis just before 11:30 p.m. As they were in the 4800 block of Euclid Ave., they heard gunshots.

Both the man and woman were struck by gunfire in the incident, which also hit their vehicle. The man told police that he was familiar with where the Jennings Police Department was, and drove there to receive help.
