ST. LOUIS — Witnesses told police that just before 11 p.m. Friday, fights first broke out between two groups of young women in the Carr Square neighborhood north of downtown St. Louis.
They said the violence quickly spilled from the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex into the street near 16th Street and Preservation Place.
