A Minneapolis woman is charged with murder and vehicular homicide in the death of a man who tried to stop her and another person from stealing his vehicle last month.
Investigators say that on May 15, Amos Ferrier ran out of Rick’s Coffee Bar in Minneapolis and confronted two people who’d broken into his vehicle.
That’s when Riniyah Brinique Allen allegedly jumped into her own SUV and hit Ferrier, causing him to fall on the hood. Prosecutors say that Allen, who turned 19 that day, swerved and braked aggressively until Ferrier fell off and suffered a fatal head injury. He died two days later…
