Summer Kicks Off: Stone Arch Bridge Festival Returns for Year 31

Get ready for one of Minneapolis’s biggest celebrations of the year. The Stone Arch Bridge Festival is coming to the historic stone bridge this Father’s Day weekend, June 20-21, and it’s free to attend.

For 31 years, this festival has drawn thousands of people to the riverfront to see art, listen to live music, and enjoy food from local vendors. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Stone Arch Bridge along W. River Parkway in downtown Minneapolis.

Here’s what makes this festival special: more than 200 artists and food vendors will be there, showing off everything from paintings and sculptures to jewelry and handmade crafts. The bridge itself becomes a gallery where you can walk around, talk to artists about their work, and buy pieces directly from them. Many of the artists are local, meaning you’re supporting Minneapolis creators.
