KARE 11 Anchor Gives Update On Her Recovery
Julie Nelson gave an update to viewers on her social media page last week. Nelson, who has been absent from KARE 11 since a boating accident earlier this year, said she should be back on TV soon, but she didn’t give a firm timeline, as her recovery hasn’t always been smooth.
According to Nelson’s post to social media, she has been dealing with some lingering effects from the accident. Nelson wrote “the nerves in my right arm are injured and, as I am learning, nerve recovery is frustratingly slow and unpredictable.” She went on to state that “I’m fortunate to have a phenomenal team helping me heal. The medical care I’ve received has been extraordinary. I feel beyond blessed to live in Minnesota with access to some of the smartest, kindest health care professionals in the world.”
