A 41-year-old Saint Paul man is facing felony charges after prosecutors alleged that he assaulted a woman inside their home, causing a broken hand and other injuries. Kevin Lewis Berg was arrested early Sept. 17 and was scheduled to appear in Ramsey County court Sept. 18 on charges of third-degree assault and threats of violence.
According to MN Crime, prosecutors allege the confrontation began in the garage and continued into the laundry room. Berg is accused of throwing a ceramic plate that struck the woman’s left arm, kicking over a glass table that hit the same arm, stepping on her arm and grabbing both arms.
