The 106-year-old Quentin Avenue bridge in Savage, which once served the Dan Patch commuter rail line, will be taken down Wednesday.
The bridge is a local landmark and relic of a bygone era in Savage, which bears little resemblance today to the farming town where M.W. Savage kept his champion racehorse more than a century ago.
