Minnesota homeowners are seeing insurance costs rise, and some are finding lower rates by reviewing coverage and shopping for new plans.
Jeff and Kathy Marcott of Oakdale said they have lived there for nearly two decades and love it, but not their old home insurance plan. After a hailstorm five years ago damaged their townhouse roof, they said they have seen double-digit rate hikes every year.
