An Eden Prairie man pleaded guilty to felony criminal vehicular operation in an August 2025 hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 2-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk.
John Charles Brecount, 64, entered the pleas Oct. 5 in Hennepin County District Court to one felony count and one gross misdemeanor count under an agreement that calls for 100 days in jail, 20 days of sentence-to-service work and three years of probation.
