BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – The City of Burnsville, Minnesota, released a press release this evening, Thursday, January 25th, announcing that Burnsville Police Officer Mark Hetherington was named Burnsville 2023 Officer of the Year.
According to the press release, Officer Hetherington has been with the department for 23 years, joining in 2000. According to Burnsville Police Chief Tanya Schartz, “Officer Hetherington’s kindhearted and compassionate outreach has built trust and long-lasting positive connections in our community for years to come.”
