Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has a long road ahead after his torn Achilles injury in Week 8 of the regular season. However, he took some time out of his day earlier this week to help a number of students at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.
Cousins has been undergoing physical therapy at Hope College to help aid his recovery process. After his PT session on Wednesday, he was approached by two students who asked him to come to their class, which they said would result in extra credit for them.
The veteran quarterback did just that, showing up and speaking to the class.
Cousins chimed in on Twitter/X, thanking the professor for allowing him to talk to the class while also holding him to his promise of extra credit for the students who approached him.
Fans took notice of this on social media and praised Cousins for taking time out of his day to help the students.
Someone with Cousins’ status could have just as easily declined the request from the students and it would have been perfectly understandable.
