ST. PAUL, Minn. — A driver struck a pedestrian on Highway 52 in St. Paul Thursday afternoon, causing a temporary closure.
The pedestrian’s condition in unknown, though the Minnesota State Patrol called it a “serious injury crash.” It happened on the northbound side of the highway at Eaton Street just before 3 p.m.
The pedestrian was walking across the highway when the driver hit them, the patrol said.
The northbound lanes were closed while authorities cleared the scene, but reopened shortly before 4:15 p.m.
