The Central Division played in three games during the 2024 AHL All-Star Challenge but went 1-0-2 which was not good enough to advance to the Championship game.
Nic Petan and Jesper Wallstedt were the two Minnesota Wild/Iowa Wild representatives who played for the Central Division team and both of them played well.
Petan, 28, finished the night with one goal and three assists for four points. Wallstedt finished the night stopping 15 of the 18 shots he faced in two games.
The Iowa Wild return to action on Friday, February 9th when they take on the Tucson Roadrunners. The Wild, on the other hand, play their first game since January 27th, on Wednesday the 7th in Chicago against the Blackhawks.
