Royals Women’s Track & Field Team Shines at South Dakota State University and UW-Stout Quad

The women’s track and field team from the Royals performed well at South Dakota State University, securing 3rd place in the 4x400m relay. The team, including Keslie Sealock, Hailey Gregg, Annessa Ihde, and Shalom Sulungaine, achieved a time of 3:52.36, ranking 7th in Division III this season.

At the UW-Stout Quad, Nora Wilhelm led the Royals with two season bests in throwing events. She achieved 3rd place in the shot put and 7th in the weight throw. Anna Speratos also set a personal best in the weight throw, ranking 5th overall.

Freshmen Emily Pearson, Raina Kaping, and Jordan Stanisloski also contributed to the team’s success. Pearson set a season best in the pole vault, ranking 2nd in the program’s history. Kaping performed well in the same event, while Stanisloski achieved 3rd place in the triple jump.

On the track, Hannah Kvant achieved 3rd place in her first collegiate 400m dash. Josie Harms and Anna Cargill also performed well, ranking 5th and 6th in the 5k and 800m respectively. Ruby Gernandt secured 8th place in the mile.
