NEW HOPE, Minn – A fire that gutted a garage in New Hope early Saturday destroyed a vehicle that is much more than four wheels used to get from Point A to Point B. Fire crews were dispatched to the Jacobson home on the 4800 block of Utah Ave. N. after a DoorDash driver spotted flames jumping from the detached garage around 3:45 a.m. and called 911. By the time West Metro crews arrived and evacuated the family from their home, the garage was consumed and the fire had spread to a nearby shed.
